Thank you very much for that. You are most kind. Another thing stopping me is we don't know if there is any censorship in any specific region. People are saying all pre orders are not censored but I have not seen this info from GOG themselves on the GOG forums here so I can't trust or risk that.
u got some more info on censorship here seems middle east is only censored one http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/35420-Censored-versions-of-the-game

Thank you for that but it does not help as I wrote in another thread and this is why.

1. It is ONLY valid IF a NON pre modified version was submitted to the Australian censorship body and NOT one that was pre modified to make it more favourable for passing classification.

2. The loophole is anyone checking the Aust classification simply sees the "original" version was submitted and passed with R18+. So it can be claimed that no changes were required by the Australian censors.

The TRICK is point number #1.

All GOG would need to state for 100% clarity is words to this effect
"The version submitted to Australia was in no way pre modified by GOG to make it more favourable for classification".

THEN and ONLY then are you 100% sure. Anything falling short of that still leaves ifs, buts and maybes. I have read that in some regions it was PRE modified to fit the local classification. I have not seen any gurantee/statement that says this has not happened in Australia. Hence that thread does not help at all sadly.

At present some people are saying ALL GOG pre orders are uncut but I have not seen anything to this effect by GOG staff on the GOG forums so it would be a gamble.

Correct but you can see the dilemma here. All we need is a statement from GOG.

THere should be a simple list showing ALL areas where a PRE MODIFIED version was submitted for classification to make it more favourable in that region. This is all you need. No ifs no maybes no buts but a solid list. Then you are safe.

Well the other issue as I said was pre orders. Some say all pre orders are uncut, but again, no evidence of this so.

styggron: Possibly.
Still trying to decide if I would play W3. Looks pretty gory, not keen on going around killing things, I prefer going around helping people.

So you don't like the idea of going around killing things because it's too gory, and you're also concerned that your copy might be censored?

I'll admit, you have left me confused. Complain much?
Unless optimizations have been focused on the consoles, that computer should run the game better and with higher graphics than PS4.

If it's such a big concern why don't you write to support and ask them directly. I doubt they will put extra info on the game page at the moment. But if you get your answer, you can share it here or even better start new thread to help others in case they have the same concern. I'm sure I've already seen several "censorship" threads.
i cannot buy this game(now), i have radeon graphic, i plan buy new radeon graphic, and this is green (nvidia) game.
Lot of gameworks games at last year dont go properly on AMD cards. Dont know, if it is intention or no(I do not want to solve it) but i will be waititng for neutral tests, they i make my decision :)

Which user / computer are you refering to ?
I'm now using a new rule when asking if a game will run on my PC and that is will it run on PS4 is so then my PC will run it ;) The PS4 is 30% slower then my GPU alone the rest of my rig is in much better shape. So Unless we start getting DX 12 game support all over the place i'll stike with my current rig ;0

Yours.
The German mag "PCGamesHardware" published a teaser for their test of the PC version, which will come next week.
http://www.pcgameshardware.de/The-Witcher-3-PC-237266/Specials/Technik-Test-1158845/

- Performance is good on an i7 even when downclocked to 2GHz and without HT
- Ultra details @ 1080p are playable with a GTX 770 / R9 280X (AMD card perform well)
- 2GB VRAM are enough for 1080p

You should be good. :)
