Hi,

I have spared playing the witcher 3 and had decided to wait for "Blood and wine" expansion to arrive... However I was wondering if this expansion plays or can be played AFTER the main campaign.
If that were the case i could start the witcher 3 now and play wine and blood after i have finished the main campaign as i am really itching to play the game...

I skimmed through the net but cannot really identify a valid source so i am asking, does anyone know this or can point me to the right link ?

and please..... NO SPOILERS......

Thanks in advance,
L.

Blood and Wine is not even out yet, so how can anybody know, and how can anybody provide any spoilers?
Well, Hearts of Stone could be played after the main quest. My guess is that it will be the same for Blood and Wine. It would kinda break immersion, if you'd have played through the main quest and the first expansion just to be forced to start a new game for the second expansion.
I know that the game isn`t out yet, however i was certain that i read somewhere that it continues after the main campaign but i cannot pinpoint the source....

There is no information on the contents, only rumours. It's an expansion, so you can safely assume that it 'expands' on the current campaign, meaning you can play the game while it's installed, and eventually come across it's contents, the same as Hearts of Stone.
has anyone found new infos concerning the subject mentioned above ?
I want to know about this too. Let say, in B&W DLC.... Ciri make a cameo. What happen if I finish the main quest first (E.G: Ciri became Empress). Need at least info for who "The recurring character" in the next DLC.

It's a standalone expansion, so you can be assured that none of the regular main storyline characters will be involved in any way.
I'm really interested to see what Geralt's motivation is to go to Toussaint.

With Toussaint sounding very French, I can't help thinking... Anaïs La Valette, for no other reason than the French thing. <Shrug>

Maybe. Fringilla Vigo held office in Toussaint after all.

Unlikely imo. I think it is pretty much canon that Anaïs was placed in Constable Natalis' custody at the end of The Witcher 2. She's more likely to be somewhere in the North.

You may be right, but since when do game developers slavishly follow so-called 'canon'? Canon is born from writers and developers.
