Siralextraffo: I'm actually pretty sure that both disc 3 and 4 have 2 files, but I'll check in a few minutes.

Thiev: Basically, the setup looks for .bin files named exactly like itself but with -# at the end.
So if there are more .bin files on the discs, just increase the digit accordingly.
I got mine from EB games, and on all the disks it only has Th and T2, on all 3 disks, and on disk 2 and 3, it only has those two files. But I'll see if I can do it the way your recommended.
Having the exact same issue, in the process of renaming the files myself. I bought the collectors edition from eb games, not only am I having this issue but also the art book is upside down in it's cover (currently in the process of sorting that out too lol) anyways will let you know if renaming the files worked once I've finished.

Please do. It looks like a widespread issue.
So far it seems to be working for me after following thiev's instructions renaming the files. Thanks Thiev for the quick help.

Let's wait for the installation to finish ;)

Might be a little while yet, each disc is taking about 20 mins to copy over for some reason, but I'll definitely keep at it
I had the same problem with retail disc, the file names were different than what the installer and autorun were looking for. I fixed that by simply... restarting my PC. Then I inserted Dics 1 again and everything went flawlessly.

While restarting helps in 95% of cases, I wouldn't think it could help here. But if it does, even better :). It's certainly easier than copying the contents of 4 DVDs to HDD.

Ok so I've successfully installed, patched and am playing the game by following Thiev's instruction of renaming files, the only thing I did differently was copied disc 4's contents and renamed them as follows:
SETUP-TH -> SETUP-TH-7
SETUP-T2 -> SETUP-TH-8

The installer asked for the setup-th-7, other than that the game went smoothly from there. Thanks once again Thiev and hopefully this helps everyone else who comes across this issue.
It was actually taking too long to copy and paste all the files, so I used the code to download my digital copy, which luckily worked; I left it downloading, 20 minutes estimated against 40 just to copy the first 2 files! :D

Could I ask all of you with similar problems to send a DXDIAG to our Support, preferably with an information where the game has been bought?

We will try to confirm whether it is hardware related (like drive not reading filenames properly) or has the batch of discs been badly manufactured.

Sure, I got the request by email as well.

I'll do it as soon as I'm back home.
Having the exact same problem. Absolutely not impressed at all! I can't find where you download it from though?
Weird, I installed the retail collectors edition and had no problems during the installation.
