I was able to get the GeoForce experience to pick up the Witcher 3 and optimize the settings there, but every time I launch the game I get the message "All game settings have been reset to their defaults" thus reversing what was optimized. Happens every time. Any thoughts?

I don't quite remember, but I thought GeForced Experience showed you the settings it thinks are optimal for the game. Can't you just remember/write them and set within the game?

In this FAQ you can find the following:
Q:. Graphics settings seem to reset every time I start the game.
A.: Geforce Experience automatically optimizes your game upon start, try disabling it for TW3.

its actually already been fixed with a new version of the GeoForce experience that was just released yesterday. I didn't want to have to disable. I wanted to leverage what was recommended without it resetting or having to manually apply the recommended settings. This thread should be closed.
