More than the bugs on release and the strange mini-freezes.

More than the not-so-cool as in first episode combat.

More than the lousy inventory and commerce/craft interface.

It's the totally unbalanced difficulty.

I had to lower the difficulty 2 or 3 times since I've started playing, and I'm still in the first act.

Boy how Letho was impossible to beat on normal setting for I.

After dozen of tries where I managed to removed like 30 pixels at most from his health bar, I switched to easy, hammered on the left mouse button and got him after 15 seconds.

The unadequate difficulty level is what bothers me the most from what I've already done.

I played my first playthrough on Normal with patch 1.2.. Won the game Roche part with 24 UNSPENT skillpoints.

Other than the Operator, i don't break a sweat. I agree that the game wasn't polished especially Chapter 3.. But i DISAGREE that the game is Hard or Impossible.

Do what? You mean the unspent skillpoint? I don't usually pump my skillpoints in MOST games that i played NOT until i felt i needed to. And surprisingly i even beat the game with all signs UNUPGRADED and taking 200% damage from rear and flanks.

Well, I'm speaking as an average player, not a monstrous geek like you appear to be (just barely, cos normal is well... smallplay XP).

And by the way, it's not ALWAYS difficult, but when it is, it gets ridiculous.

The difficulty curve is messed up, I agree. Though I wish the game, in general, was harder as once you reach chp 2 difficulty more or less goes out the window never to be seen again save for a few specific encounters.

Also, when in doubt, shower your enemies with daggers and bombs. They are OP :p

From what I've heard, on Easy the enemies don't block or something which might explain why Letho is way easier on that difficulty.

That being said, once you learn the timing of enemy attacks (might take a few deaths here and then) and dodge well it goes a long way towards survivability.

I don't have trouble against most ennemies on normal, it's just the "bosses" that get a bit ridiculous. It's like they should be easy+ or normal- to be truly balanced in comparison of the rest of the game.

Seems to me that the poster don't like the combat and hence everything became impossible to him .. not that it's really hard at all. I believe it's his intention to thrash the game so that CDPR may believe him so they will do the game the WAY he likes it.

Looks boring. I don't regret switching to easy after all my tries.

Well the combat is just plain boring anyway roll spam, Quen spam and left click spam. I also set the game on easy and just left click my way past the combat portions. I have watched a few videos and in everyone it is like a boated fish on a hot deck with all the flopping and rolling around that is going on. It is not the Witcher 2 it is the Fishman 1.

it is only boring when you use a shovel which got like 1-5 dmg :P when using a regular sword, you can beat him in like 1/5 the time :p
