That's my Yrden graphics, though it's not blue, it's flashing and changing colors. I've tried pretty much everything I can think of.

I'm Running i7-2600k
GTX 580
8GB of RAM
W7 Professional 64-bit.

not sure why it's doing that, i think it's some incompatibility with the graphics card though. Try installing new drivers, or revert back to old ones.
I have the same glitch. Are you using the new 300 beta driver? (I forget the exact version number.. the one with universal FXAA and adaptive v-sync). I'm using that one, I'm going to re-install the previous stable driver and see if it still happens.

EDIT: I reverted the driver back, and the glitch was gone. I guess we'll have to wait for a certified version of the 300 series drivers. Oddly, I had the same glitch with any water I came across when I installed the high-res texture pack mod, and this was months ago. Oh well?

Hello,

I had the same problem yesterday when playing The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition (fully upgraded of course) with a few mods including Better Texture Environment which seems to be the cause of this problem. Found this older thread yesterday when I was searching the forums for a solution, which I later found in a Reddit thread.

These [graphic bugs] are both caused by the high res texture mod. Delete the following two items to resolve the issue:

\CookedPC\items\work\remains_human_01 (folder) - if this folder is active when Gerald stands against a background of water a few black annoying artifacts appear. \CookedPC\items\geralt\geralt_signs\yrdentrap.w2ent (file) - if this file is active Yrden trap creates big colorful texture block.

This little fix worked perfectly with me so I thought I'd share the information here as GOG.com forums seems to be a logical place to look for help regarding The Witcher games.

Hopefully this helps!

You are amazing. Five years later this is the fix I need to make my witcher look Witcher 3 like.
Kudos +++ my friend.
