Zedblade: I'm really tempted to use this, I like my first playthroughs to be completely vanilla, however the ridiculousness of having 30 pounds of flowers and only 255 (don't know how I got the extra 5) allowed really chaps my baby smooth behind.

Must. Resist.Temptation.
Some pieces of armour will bump up your carry weight. The elven armour in Chapter I for example gives a +15 bonus. Elven gloves also bump it up slightly. I was burdened carrying some stuff, switched out my armour for the elven rags, ran to the trader, switched back and sold them.
Thank you very much for this mod!

Having a weight limit IS realistic, but I still hate it. :-) I play fantasy games to get away from reality for awhile, and micro-managing my inventory is the sort of fiddly stuff that dramatically undermines my enjoyment of a game.

One thing I liked about The Witcher 1 was that there wasn't a lot of loot in it, so there wasn't as much inventory management as is usual in RPG's. I groaned when I heard that there would be lots more swords and lots more pieces of armor, plus crafting and traps and just generally a lot of STUFF in TW2. Thanks for taking a lot of the pain out of that!
Maybe I'm just losing it, but it didn't do anything for me. Yes, I followed the instructions. Do I need to start a new game for this to work?
hey i think iam having problems with updating the game due to the mod. is there a way to uninstall it? i have the steam verion.
For what it's worth, I use this mod and had no problem patching my game to 2.0

With that said, to remove it, it's actually only one file and that's located in:

x:\xxxxx\The Witcher 2\CookedPC\items

File is called "def_weights.xml"

Just remove that file.

Cheers
