witcher 2 : Enhanced Edition (troll's trouble DLC installed)
troll giving 52 orens in place of hunter armor formula for stuffed troll's head of his wife.
any ideas why and how can it be resolved ??
You're running FCR 2. Hunter's Armor is removed in FCR 2. When you're running FCR 2, any hints and tips from the Wiki and elsewhere involving quest rewards, alchemy, crafting, talents, and weapons and armor are no good. It's almost a different game.

Because saves from a game modded with FCR 2 are not compatible with the unmodded game, you will have to play FCR 2 as it lies, or uninstall FCR 2 and start a new game.

@cjrgreen : Thank you sir for help, I didn't realised FCR2 mod changes quest items too with combat mechanism.
KUDOS !!
Really annoyed me to see Hunter Armor absent but I found a workaround to get it on FCR2:

I downloaded: All Items Available at Inkeepers Mod: nexusmods[dot]com/witcher2/mods/275
and bought it for 320 orens and I made up for the orens by arm wrestling and fighting (yeah, I know, I really wanted that armour bad... I had just installed this really sweet retexture for it... :) .

The nice thing about this workaround is you get any item you want without having to switch FCR2 off and risk corrupting your save.

Can't recommend the Mod at all. It made my gameplay trivial. Even on Hard difficulty. Also the game dropped me Deithwen (a 44-48 damage weapon you usually find in Chapter 3) where you usually find Sword of Kaer Morhen in Chapter 1 which trivialized the gameplay even more. So better not use it.
