It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Tried in Polish, no answers, so again, in English.

Bought TW1 and TW2 on winter sale. After some trouble I was able to run it, however if I try to run TW2, the "play" button goes from green to grey for a couple of seconds, then back. GOG says I played few seconds ago. Does not work from the game folder too. I tried launcher, launcher from the bin folder, tried userContentManager, where I can't manage nothing, nevertheless, when I click Save and Run, there it is: "The Wither 2 failed to launch".

I have Win7, tried in compatibility mode, non-full screen, checked MV C+ and other suggested solutions. After installing DirectX9, even TW1 stopped working, so I had to go to System Restore (and for TW1 it worked, thenk God).

Tried to update, reinstall, even install from DVD Package I bought years ago, and this one STILL wouldn't run. Could'n even add it to GOG games library.

So, I am frustrated, 'cause I can't play game anyway, even though I used to like 7 years ago and it ran smoothly, pretty much on the same PC (now it's old, back then it was really tweaked).

I wanted to buy more games, old classics in this winter sale (til 3rd. Jan.), now I'm not so sure if I will, if it leads to so much frustration.

So... If anyone has an idea what to do, please lend me a hand here :)
Pretty please :)

I am using Linux Mint 19.1 and have the the same issue. After I have intstall the dependencies, I was able to the the launcher to launch. THen I Click on Launch Game the launcher goes aways and nothing happens. Any thoughts?
I have no clue, since this is different OS. After some medelling in C++ libraries, updating Win (not graphic card drivers, thought) finnaly managed to run game in Windows XP Service Pack 2 compatibility mode, although GOG didn't seem to notice that I played at all. And, sorry to say, I don't know whitch settings finally made a difference and let me play this game. Try to check, if you have all updates for PC, I didn't even notice that some of the services weren't working.
