Jedi knights would probably win if it was possible these two kind of warriors could meet in battle, not because of their skills but because of their Light Sabers, their skills are inferior to Witchers' but thanks to their sabers they will most probably win as they can cut a Witcher's sword if their swords clash but there is a minor possibility swords won't clash so the Witcher will slice the Jedi nicely. But because of they'll not meet no one will win and no offense but this looks to me as a silly question or a topic opened just for the reason of trolling, i'd prefer the first one.

skill? a jedi does have more power then a witcher. and with force intuition the witcher would not stand too long against a jedi, even if the witcher had a vibrosword.

I've seen both the Jedi and Witchers in action in movies, games etc. and i'd say the skill a Witcher has with a sword is far more superior than the skill a jedi has with a sword, and what jedi can do with force, a Witcher can do with signs, not all of them but quite a good portion of them and also witcher's have potions.
The Jedi would pull out a blaster at 100 meters and win even before the witcher can get into range. Bascially a gun will usually win in a knife fight.
Aard seems to be about as useful in a fight as a force push, but Jedi have much more control over their powers and the whole force intuition thing going for them.

I bet they don't even have to sit down to drink potions.
Thinking about it, I realise that many of the Witcher's signs are pretty similar to Jedi Force powers. I mean, Aard versus Force Push? Jedi mind tricks or Axii? Still, a Jedi's ability to sense the future, and sense it well enough to deflect blaster bolts accurately, is going to be an enormous advantage. Also, yes, lightsabers will cut through whatever the Witcher is using.

One other thing: Jedis have Force Jump, whereas my Witcher has a hard time making even minor jumps.

Then again... Witchers use bombs. But if Jedi can use blasters, I don't think a Witcher stands a chance.

Pfft maybe in your knife fight, in mine i can deflect bullets!

Tell that to all the jedi's that died in the last movie.

And the witcher can't deflect bullets so my point is valid.

Well......no i am still right, see witchers can deflect arrows, now since there are no guns in the games time, i would reckon that when they do eventually show up, Geralt would have a talent to deflect bullets.

Can a Jedi defeat the Kayran, nope they would be squashed.

Can a Jedi defeat a dragon, nope they would be eaten.

Plus all the siths would join the witcher and crush the jedi. Ole Luke Skywalker would be running for the hills when Geralt and his band of red swinging sticks come around the corner...... Plus, Geralt would just ressurect anyway and beat that Jedi down...to which the Jedi would return as the "Ghostie," With specter oil and a silver sword that Ghosties going to get it! :D

I noticed that you have called for reinforcements. The original question is simply who wins between a jedi or witcher. And I'm on the side with the advanced technology.

After all like in Aliens, take off and nuke em from space. Only way to be sure. Let's see a witcher deflect a nuke.

Well, to be fair, witchers do not have to drink potions to be strong. But you made a good argument about force intuition.

But what if the witchers pull out a fully upgraded Quen? That oughta turn the tables

If a Jedi can blow up a frakken Death Star or survive being chased by a dozen starfighters, I believe it is not impossible for them to defeat the Kayran and the Dragon.

@callofstalker

Silly post by me? Sure. But not meant to be a trolling. I love the Witcher games and I also loved the Knights of the Old Republic games. So I just got to thinking about the similarities in the characters and fighting styles and how they might fair if pitted against each other.

I too vote for the Jedi because the Witcher would have to be using his steel sword and the lightsaber would cleave that thing into its iron ore component parts.

Well you have some bad ass legendary magical swords in Act III which can possibly survive attacks from a lightsaber.

I think the Witcher would just LOL at Jedi's Force Jump, as he posesses an ancient skill of rrrrrrrollin! :)

Plus his overpowered Quen (+2 level) would give him some time to stand against lightsabers, so he could light up this rebel scum with Igni, get him all panicked and then let him feel the Swirl of his sword. He could also slow time with the Heliotrope and then to pieces cut the Jedi, he might

:)
