What "exactly" gets imported??
Is there a article or something where it gets explained in detail??

Orens get imported. Sometimes. The results are varying. I had 32,000 orens in TW1 but only had like 450 orens in TW2. Some others mentioned that they had 250,000 orens in TW2. It's totally inconsistent.

Skill points get imported or rather levels. Somehow, some people started off with 4 skillpoints and started at level 5. How? I was level 32 and I started off at level 1.

Armor gets imported, at least the Raven armor does.

Weapons get imported, as long as they were unique. No crafted weapons got imported. There seems to be an issue where G'valchir does not get imported but the rest of the unique weapons do.

You get some potions and a ton of recipes.

Changes in dialogue and events also play out differently if you saved Adda for example, or supported the Squirrels.
Can anyone say if the imported gold/gear is seen already in the tutorial or only in Chapter One?
I can confirm Gvaz's post but my Gwalhir got imported too.

Orens being imported was a nice boost but hopefully it won't make the game too easy :P

you start wtih it in your inventory right away

as soon as i rolled off of triss, i opened up inventory. thankfully still button i. i hate when games switch it. looked in swords and found my silver sword and found my raven armor in armor.

sadly no steel, as someone said the one i had equpped does not transfer over.

i hear you lose it, then get it back, but as someone also said, it gets outclassed very quickly.

would like to know its stats
Sounds like almost nothing of mine got imported... damn.

One sword did, but no raven armour nor the orens.

I think I started at level one as well.

Bizarre.

I imported my save from the frozen area near the end... I wonder if it makes a difference.

lol

Sorry - from memory they sounded the same :P
got raven armor, an a unique steel and silver sword that weren't that great, and a bunch of recipes, no stat points though. so yea, inconsistent...
i did some experimenting, and was able to transfer 900k to the witcher 2 through using the save game editor for the witcher 1 -,-.

gold doesn't seem to transfer at a 1 to 1 ratio.
So ppl who didnt complete the game are screwed (myself included).
Frankly I think its a bug on CDP's end. Because I know I heard them saying that game should be able to pick up the latest save game no matter the completion rate
I got Raven Armor, Aerondight and Gvalchir. Bunch of potion recipes and about 600 coins. Started at level 1.
What about decisions??
