jim_uk: This is a forum, look the word up in a dictionary. Now look at the top of the page, it says "Community Discussions" it doesn't say "Beta Testers".

I don't know who you are but it's quite obvious you don't work for GOG, as such you have no right whatsoever to tell people what they can and cannot post.
well it is a forums, so I can LAUGHT at some cry babies here. They are pissed of at everything possible.

Can't they learn to enjoy life a bit?

Cannt believe they even complain that Hard level is too hard? Look like they need to play hard on easy. The developer just need to put the word "hard" there to please their pity self esteem

I hope you take comfort in the fact that your post was marked negatively and as spam.

There are a good number of warranted requests that were posted on here, because paying customers have no other recourse but to post on gog. CD Project shut down the forums the same week that they launched a flagship product. That's bad business right there.

Not to mention no official press releases on what they plan to address as far as bugs and bugfixes, glitches, and balances.

Look at a company like Blizzard, and observe how they treat their customers and their community, and compare that to how CD Project is treating the community here. They fucking own the company that owns this forum, yet they don't take the time to address community issues?

Original poster, you fail at life and you fail hard. You tell others to be helpful, well stirring the pot isn't exactly being helpful.

DERP, Comparing CD Projekt to Blizzard is such dumbass comparisson that you dont even deserve to play this game. When Blizzard was in its first years back then it had few other names it wassent as great as it is now you idiot, also there where not so many active forum users as are today so you just start comparing two companies that are entirely diffrent.

If you would read my first sentence you see i agree that there are issues with the game, tho none of them are at a lvl that they will fuckover your game experience. And CD project did release an official press note on the next week upcomming patch so dont just spread lies and some investigation before making false claims, it will contain loads of bugfixes, keymapping and other stuff. Also your final comment just make you look silly it seems you know exactly who or what i am. Im not stirring the pot im trying to let people see that what there doing just issent helpfull and also that most people who cry about Balance just suck at the game cause in my experience on normal if you use your damn pots/signs/atacks/traps the right way there are no isssues. This also means keep your gear up to par and doing alot of investigation ingame wich is fun and makes this a true hardcore RPG. So instead of insulting me and posting lies on these forums you might wannna shut up and go play hello kitty island adventure cause your not good enough for this game.

Extace: Fact is people have to face that this is a HARDCORE RPG you dont get npc's giving you lots of hints and tips and they will let you die if your being stupid.
And I always thought HARDCORE meant if you die once you start again from the beginning.

This game has too many elements which are completely the opposite. You die over and over again until you figure out what you need to do to in a particular fight or situation and it sucks. At easy difficulty with care you should be able to complete the game without a death and without having played it before or searching Google or watching someone else on Youtube to know what you need to do in advance.

The Kikimoor queen set piece was the only real example of this in the original and it was the worst part of the game, The Witcher 2 gives us something worse than that before we even leave the prologue.

It is like playing a platform game or Lemmings or something where the whole point is learning how to beat each level by trial and error. I don't want to play a game like that. It ruins the sense of realism and role playing which the rest of the game tries so hard to promote.

I really do hate this game (http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/why_i_hate_this_game/page1). I'd had enough and de-installed it before leaving act 1.

It is hack and slash, character skill hardly comes into it. If Fable had a nightmare mode this would be it.

I blame Oblivion for this, so many these days base what an RPG should be like on that monstrosity.

Extace: Seriously again you start with a complaining but you dont tell what exactly is wrong and what you think should be done better...
I've said in other posts what I think is wrong, sadly those who dare criticise the game are jumped on by a dozen crazed fanboys.

I'm a member of the Codemasters forums and witnessed the uproar about the state of the F1 2010 game, there were pages of complaints (or whining as some call it). Needless to say the fanboys had to jump on every negative post with the usual crap about "You suck" and "You can't do better". Codemasters were genuinly interested in feedback so it was the fanboys who got the warnings and bans. Complaints however worded are of more value to developers than the mindless sycophancy of fanboys.
