Anyone knows how to remove that bunch of movies for nvidia, gog etc.. at the start please? I have tried deleting the files directly in the game folder but it just makes a black screen instead and we still need to hit esc to get past that.

Most of the time the best solution known to solve this problem is to create a blank file, make a copy of the original videos, rename the blank files with the same name and launch the game when you're done...

Most common way, but I can't try right now... at my job...

If someone have a better solution, please let us know.
Little surprised why don't they make them skippable with ESC key?
More than likely, the movies and intros are used to cover up loading.

I know that this is the case with Civilization V, and that if you disable them, you have to sit through a bit of blank screen 'til it has loaded.

Mostly true for games using graphics within the menu, like Portal(1&2) or L4D, even TW1 used them in the main menu.

But since I can't see how the menu looks... hard to give my answer... wish I could be sick today T_T
lol
Ahh the old loading screens...

People should remember the C64 and tape drives....

45min loading screens anyone?

no, you can skip them with esc and the game actually loads instantly once you hit esc 5 times because there are actually 5 intro movies lol.
But I would rather not have to hit esc 5 times each time i start the game.
