Many of you gamers, I'm sure, are familiar with the Reclaim Your Game website. They are usually the first to whine about SecuRom DRM when it is used in a newly released game.

I have visited their site several times regarding the use of SecuRom, and they spend pages of dribble exclaiming how terrible it is, and how so and so company lied about its use, etc., ad nauseam. What they never seem to do is differentiate which version of the DRM is actually being used, and is it an invasive version or a simple release date check? Does its presence actually hurt the game's performance or not?

CDPROJEKT's concern for its customers and firm stance against the use of DRM was just affirmed by patching, The Witcher 2, released less than two weeks ago, to a DRM free version.

RYG needs to acknowledge that all game developers are not greedy, unscrupulous and uncaring. I say let's hear from you RYG, how about some praise for a stand up company like CDPROJEKT and their wonderful game, The Witcher 2!
