I've started playing The Witcher 2 today, using the most recent patch (1.1) and an XBox 360 Controller. Playing up to the point when Roche's interrogation is finished, I've come across some problems / bugs:

No scrolling with XBox Controller
It seems to be impossible to scroll through long journal entries with the XBox Controller - neither the Control Sticks, nor the Control Pad, nor any of the Buttons work. If you want to give it a try, the journal entry about Geralt is one that has a scrollbar right from the beginning. When using mouse and keyboard, scrolling is done with the mouse wheel.

No Rumble with XBox Controller
After being puzzled by it's absence, I've searched to launcher and the in-game options for a setting to turn on the XBox 360 Controller's rumble, but there doesn't seem to be any. Since rumble is a basic feature of the XBox 360 Controller and the game was supposed to properly support it, I would definately have expected rumble effects.

Undesired Equipment Change / Loss of Upgrades
When I started playing, I had the Blue Stripe's Jacket (from pre-order DLC) and the Raven Armor (from Importing Witcher 1 Save) in my inventory. I equipped the Raven Armor, but whenever a new part of the prologue started, Geralt was wearing the Blue Stripe's Jacket. Furthermore, I put an +1 Armor Upgrade into one of the Raven Armor's slots during the second part of the prologue (where you face Aryan La Valette at the end), but it was gone when the third part of the prologue started.

Control Stick not working in Quick Selection Menu
It seems after installing patch 1.1, the quick selection menu can't be controlled with the XBox Controllers left Control Stick anymore - only the Control Pad will work now. Is this intended? Control Stick in the quick selection menu was cumbersome in 1.0 (you had to select signs by going up/down step-by-step instead of just pressing in the corresponding direction), but that still was better than having to move to the Control Pad each time.

I don't use controller, so sorry there.

As for inventory/equipment jumping around in the prologue, certain pieces did that before the patch too. Probably because one can run the prologue in different sequences, so the game (sorta) treats eats section as the first one.
Did someone else encounter the loss of upgrades in the prologue? Has anyone used an armor upgrade and it was still there in the next part of the prologue?

Does anyone know more about the gamepad-related problems? I'm pretty sure rumble, scrolling and navigating the quick selection menu with the left control stick won't work for other player either, but wouldn't mind confirmation.
now that you mention it I don't recall any rumble from my 360 controller during gameplay but i'm still running the 1.0 version..

I noticed about the loss of upgrades too. It seems like you get a new piece of armor every part of the prologue. It didn't bother me that much though, the upgrades are pretty minor and I think you get upgrades in every part.
