That's the way I played TW1 and that's the way I want to play this game, however I can't find the download link for Polish voices.

I registered the game and redeemed my TW2 key, but the voice pack doesn't appear in the DLC window.

I think that the Polish language DLC may not be available yet?

I can't say the title of that thread helps ;)
Thanks TParis. So it will come soon. Teaches me for being impatient.

You'll have to wait a bit - they'll put it up in the DLC, I already see it in my version even though it's Polish... they've been having some server problems, once they sort it out it'll be there.
Thanks to all of you <3
I talked to one of the guys at CDP RED (good thing we're neighbors, huh?) and they're on it. Basically they need to enable the DLC for the GOG keys. I apologize for the trouble, the Polish version will be available as soon as possible. I'll post in this thread once I get word from RED.
thats great ;) but will be today?, plz
arghh pls hurry ive played the first 15 mins about 8 times :/ I want polish for my first playthrough
It should be today. Firek is busy hacking servers with his l33t skillz at this very moment.

Or something.
I hope they fix is soon, GoG instead of Steam and no "Wiedzmin" :(
Thanks, Firek!
I'm also waiting for the polish voices to explore this game further.
So far the quality of the writing is very good in the english version, it seems the translation was done thoroughly and with respect for the spirit and the style of the original dialogues. Especially when it comes to profanities. :-)

The english voice-acting, however.... Very tame, in my opinion, especially Triss' and Geralt's voices. I think it doesn't do justice to the quality of the writing.
What do you guys think?

They've been writing the English and Polish back-to back, with a native speaker on staff from what I've heard.

Well, you can tell, and it's really a nice change over the partial translation of TW1 (even with the EE patch, you still had polish lines twice as long as the translation, in some cases). In TW2, at least from what I've heard so far, it's not that the english voices are bad, just not very original.
The main characters deliver their lines in a clear but relatively monotonous way, and the secondary characters have a funny accent (Irish, cockney, french, etc...), but still, there isn't much "acting" in there, to my ears... Or it could be a matter of taste and style.
The english VO is way way better than the witcher 1 but I played the first in polish and now geralt just doesnt sound right :/
