I now have EVERYTHING maxed (yes even ubersampling) and the game is running 30fps, this is on a single overclocked GTX 560TI and an i7 cpu. Impressive
Can't wait to try it out. ATI's new drivers gave me a massive boost (enabling crossfire)
Running it maxed out with ubersampling myself at a rock solid 48-55 frames :)
Damn u u better not be teasing me with ubersampling... just exited the game to turn it on lol 3.4ghz phenom ii 4gb ram 560 ti oc... wel see!
Just installed it and i actualy diddent get any FPS increase (well maybe 1-3FPS), Somehow the game runs fine for me with ubersamp off between 50-60 FPS. But with it on it just goes down to 15-20FPS. Hopefully the real amd driver CAP will fix more stuff for single GPU preformance hopefully my HD6950 2gb will then be able to run Ubersamp really looking forward to actually being able to run the game with 30+FPS for max looks.
Are you talking about the GoG version, or the retail version? Because everything I hear indicates it addresses problems with the retail version, whereas the gog version was already running pretty well, and so retail versions will see the most improvement.

If youre getting that kind of increase on the gog version, I am excited.
It's a bit patchy for me. Groups of people seem to be handled more smoothly but in Flotsam I lose about 15fps just for looking at the sun glinting off the well :/

Major fps increase ? For me is 2-5 fps increase. I can run the game in max, including ubersampling on 34 fps before the patch 1.1 was released. So, waiting for a real patch to improve performance.

Also the game has some problems with gpu usage in some areas, making the fps get kinda low. So they need to fix that issue.

go to your gog account, check the witcher 2 files, you'll see the patch as a bonus file
I'm also seeing barely any performance improvement. GoG version, HD5770 GPU, 3,2GHz Quadcore CPU. Still between 30-45fps usually, with all too common drops to 20-30 (which are the thing that bothers me, I'm totally fine with anything above 30fps).

Settings: 1600x900, High, SSAO off, and all the other most demanding features off.

Honestly, I prefer Uber Sampling off, and the large frame boost from it.

Ubersampling is nice..but its just sorta a huge AA all over the whole screen for me. I think it's crisper with it off, and you get of course 20+ FPS more.
This definitely cleaned things up. I can run at 720p without losing framerate now.
