When I point it towards C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 2 it doesn't recognize the game. Should I be pointing it elsewhere? Or to a particular place in the file?

Thanks in advance

Oh, good, I thought it was just me.

I don't have a solution, but I did want to let you know that I'm in exactly the same boat as you. I've been trying out a lot of things to get it to work on my end before thinking "maybe I should check the GOG forums".

I suppose that there's a certain way that Galaxy installs the game that Geforce Experience doesn't understand yet. It will probably reappear in a future patch.

Hopefully this sort of thing will be ironed out once Galaxy is out of beta. Thanks for letting me know I wasn't the only one. lol. =)
Aye, I've checked the NVIDIA forums as well, and others have reported the same thing. See here.

Try to report it as well. The more we are, the merrier. :-)
Same problem. The manual installer version is recognized though.

The galaxy version is likely to have a different .exe for whatever reason and it's not recognized.
+1 Same boat here. Interesting about the standalone installer version detecting....
This didnt work for me at first either..but in 'Experience' I went to 'Preferences', looked down to 'Locations' and put in 'C:' (use the 'browse' button) so it will now scan the whole drive for games.

The program found Galaxy Witcher 3 then after a refresh.

It just because Galaxy installs Witcher on C drive (or whatever your prime drive happens to be..and of course unless you pointed the installer elsewhere)....

...rather than installing in 'Program Files' like most games and programs do...
its located in gog games folder in c..

so default installation for gog games are in

C:/GOG Games not inside program files

It's working now. When the game was first released GeForce experiance couldn't recognize it no matter where you pointed it. I'm pretty sure it was using an older build.

Still not working for me, it's finding GOG the Witcher 3 without any problems, but for the GOG Witcher 2 enhanced edition installed with Galaxy, no way.

Too bad

lol-- I forgot which game this post about, my bad. =) Yeah, it's still not detecting Witcher 2 for me, either.
Got The Witcher 3 to show up in the Nvidia Experience list. for those who haven't figured it out . open the Nvidia Experience application, go to Preferences then click games. In the middle of the window there should be a place called locations. press the + to the right of that. select your PC, Local Disk :C, and then the GOG folder. No need to go deeper than that. Click Select Folder and then click Check Now above the Locations screen to the right of supported games found. it should search for a couple seconds then locate the game. Now you should be able to optimize using the Nvidia Application.

This should work the same for any game that is stored inside the GOG folder. enjoy

This topic is about Witcher 2, which doesn't show up when you select to scan the GOG folder. (me too)
Same for me, guess I'll post at the nvidia boards as well.
good to know its not just me
