I have no flipping idea why CDPR would do this because New Zealand is it's own country and has it's own laws, own classification systems.

I am extremely disappointed with GOG.com and CDPR. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
I don't understand why anyone is willing to skip which looks likes to be one of the best games ever for such a minor censorship. It's not like it's different game or anything.
I believe it's more the principle of the matter than the actual censorship.

Kiwi's hate being lumped in together as an Aussie (easy way to get my wife cranky , who happens to be a kiwi, is to say her accent sounds austrailian), particularly when all the previous indications from GOG showed that the world is supposed to getting the full game instead of a censored one for single country which is located across the tasman sea

It's the principle! It's not the real game, it's modified, corrupted, bastardized.

I wouldn't care whether it was the current changes or Geralt's shirt being a different color, it's not the game the way the developers intended!

Precisely.

There's no way for GoG to know what country you come from, unless you tell them yourself.
All you have to do is change the location on your account settings to non-aus or NZ for the download. Im sick of reading the same thread and complaints a 100x over.

Look, I get it's a problem for some people, hence why gog allowed for the region change, but seriously, is 1 thread on this not enough?

Can people USE the search function?

Rage over.

My thread about Australia having the censored version and then New Zealand having a censored version were the first two threads on BOTH issues thanks very much, mate.

Yeah I know, it's very good they are doing this, they are taking an incredibly huge legal risk.

And I would apologize but.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSD2_1kLIQE

Is there actual new information here or are you just spamming with this? The change in location methodology ought to have changed this, unless you've got specific information that this doesn't change that, then you really shouldn't be whining about it now.

Mr. Gog did make a change which presumably fixes the situation and yet here you are whining about it anyways.

Personally, I don't see any good reason to keep complaining without having at least some reason to believe that the fix didn't work.

Uh where did you misinterpret that I was still complaining? I'm not.

I think they have sorted it out wonderfully.

Switch, apologies for the ranting, At the end of the day though, it was more at the sheer number of posts regarding to it, whether or not yours was the first or the 100th it was all GOG had been filled with :P

Anyway, didn't mean to beat on ya
Ugh, saw this too late. I had my country set to New Zealand and expected everything to be fine but I've apparently bought the AU edition without anything warning me. I've sent a message to support so hopefully they can sort it out.

That's a shame :\

Hopefully you can just change your country to somewhere else then redownload it

Nope, changed my country and it is still the AU edition. Absurd.
