wormholewizards: The first one was really monotonous and flat. Hope in this version, he is more livelier and cheery.

Gidzin: He's suppose to be monotonish its his character.. unemotional its a Witcher!!
But in TW1, he try a few one liner joke toward some people. But i not gonna buy it with his emotionless flat tone. It is like he in the middle of reading books or script.

I think it was more sarcasm then a joke....very dry humor at that...sign of intelligence maybe??
Might be a bug but there was a section of conversation where Geralt stopped sounding like Geralt.

I'm talking about the hanging scene, you'll know what I mean when you get to it.
The Witcher 2 voice actor for Geralt seems alot different. It sounds like a different person.
I liked the original voice better but I have only played the witcher 2 for about an hour. But it is a noticible difference in voice.

i got some great chuckles from him. the way he delivered his jokes was great because it said

"I can be funny, but i would rather kill you now"
I always thought The Witcher 1 VA was two voice actors. Sometimes it would change tones completely. But I decided that it was mixed differently.

I like the flat delivery. It seems right for the character.
I'm pretty sure its the same actor. I think it's just higher quality recording.

Also I think they changed Triss she sounds like a teenager now.

Sounds like the same actor to me. Not sure about Triss
Yes, it's the same voice actor for Geralt: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0168339/.
But he's he only one with his original TW1 voice, according to devs - even though you barely believe it with Zoltan. But his new voice is even a little bit better.

Triss... if I wouldn't like that voice very, very much, I'd be pissed that she sounds much too girlish for the powerful enchantress she is supposed to be. Triss in TW1 was an angry, defiant woman at times. And a scheming cold bitch at other. New Triss is very mellowed out. But she's too sexy to be cross with her about that. ;)
And I think she is in fact closer to her counterpart in the books.
