I am not sure if this is because of the amd hotfix, or because patch 1.1. It defintely is not working anymore though. I also have some strange lightning problems. :(
Did you reset your GFX settings upon patching? The patch sets them all back to low.

Yes
Well, Motion Blur works for me, although I know that doesn't help you, except to let you know it *should* be working.

I can confirm the lighting problems post AMD hotfix. There is a thread I just created on the subject in this forum as well as one over in the Steam forums:

EDIT: also some textures look like low detail , and sun light looks weird too, old driver was waaay better with radeon pro and Dirt profile , these new drivers are a monstruosity! i believe they was made by that She-Troll :p

this problem is for people with crossfire and sli. So i don't think it's a drivers problem since both ATI and NVIDIA have the same problem for people with more than one card or a witcher 2 problem.

The Hotfix is muuuuuch better than radeon pro + dirt2 profile at least using the hotfix + 11.5 CAP1 (i expect the new CAPs that are supposed to pop up today will improve things). There are some ocasional problems but the framerate doesnt go up and down like crazy like it went with the other method. And the minimum fps are also much better (50-60 fps nearly all the time except some places where it's on 40s)

2x 5850 here
Ok i went back to the old drivers and i still have the same ugly lights they seem like spheres... i guess is not the driver , mabe is the patch i have no idea i feel lost D:
. It's those christmass lights that become very annoying. I hope it will be fixed soon because I can't wait anymore, have to play this game.

I had to wait for both the 1.1 patch and the amd hotfix to finally get a good framerate to play at (4850x2 here). I am really happy with my performacne now, and the game looks beautifull.

Thing is, I already waited over a week befoer I could finally play at a good framerate, and I can't wait again. Know what I mean ?:'(
