It occurred to me that when I preordered, I was presented with a price in dollars, rather than pounds. When I logged out to check the preorder page, it presented me with a United Kingdom price in Great British pounds sterling. It seems this difference is due to my country being set as the Isle of Man - as such, I'm not sure if GOG.com will provide me with the rebate stated.

Does GOG.com recognise that the currency of the Isle of Man is GBP?

Hope they correct that for you.

But I am sure it is not a first case of someone forgetting 80k people (that about the population of the 3 armed Island right ?) on the 730M in Europe.

I got this response from GOG support:
Hello,

I'm afraid that the Isle of Man isn't technically a part of the United Kingdom and thus you won't have to pay in Pounds Sterling, but US dollars (the "rest of the world" price). Since the price in US dollars is effectively lower, you will get pretty much same value for your money. I hope this isn't an inconvenience?

Peter

I'm very, very displeased by this assessment.
Doesn't that mean you'll be paying USD? If so your credit card should do the currency exchange for you, which should only cost a couple bucks.

That's how it works when I have to buy something USD. Then again, I am in Canada.
