The drop down box for "Text Language" is blank and when i launch the game all the text is screwed up and i cant talk to anyone, making the game unplayable till the issue is resolved.

Here is a screenshot of the Advanced Options menu.

I have the GoG version of the Witcher 2 running patch 1.2

I read something similar weeks ago. I think something got messed up during installation of 1.2, maybe due to lack of admin privileges, and reinstalling 1.2 (if possible) or reinstalling the game+patch fixed it in that other case.
