want to know how to get the to display the current. also a good sort of neautral spot to benchmark the changes. I'm aiming to get maybe 45 fps normaly and maybe drop to 30 when things get hectic. thanks guys.

You can use an application called Fraps. The free version will display your FPS, so you don't need the pay version.

You can set the number display to be in one of the four corners of the screen.

thanks will definatly cheak that out :). just need a few suggestions for benchmarking.
