Another Eyefinity User here. Really would like proper support for it (As well as Vision Surround and TH2G etc., which basically all will be covered with only one fix!).
Nvidia 2D Surround user here, please add support for multi monitor. Thank you.

Jesus people... I have EyeFinity with triple monitors too, but you have to realise this is an absolute niche. Very few people have this, you can't expect game studios to cater to these select few as if their life depended on it.

If it's any consolation: the game would probably run very badly on such huge resolution anyway.

I doubt that. There are a lot of eyefinity/sourrund-Users out there.

Where did you buy your magical crystal ball?
The Witcher 2 has failed to pass widescreen standards at www.pcgamingstandards.com

Horz+ needs to be implemented to remove letter-boxing on non-16:9 aspect ratios and make ultra wide formats playable.
Any modern pc game should support hor+, it's a standard.

The point is: If it was implemented correctly in the first place, we would not be here. It would work just fine.

The Problem is, that the game is hard coded for 16:9 resolutions. That's why Eyefinity users get black borders on left and right and that's why 16:10, 5:4 or 4:3 users have black borders on the bottom or on the top.

A correct fix/implementation would be a benefit for all users that do not have a 16:9 monitor. And I guess, this is the majority of all players!
I'll just toss this out here: GOG.com isn't the developer of the game, so any reply from us won't count as an "official" reply from the devs.

I know that they're hard at work at CDP RED to address the issues that some of you are having with this game, and hopefully we'll hear more news from them soon.

That said, any requests that you'd like to make to the CDP RED devs would more profitably be addressed to the fine folks over at thewitcher.com, since I couldn't say if CDP RED reads our forums or not.

I'd like to do that honestly, but the witcher forums are still down. I've emailed but thats the best I can get right now.

Exactly correct.

Thanks for answering. I guess most of us are aware of this. It's just that at this point this is the only place to leave some feedback.

We will for sure have another thread in the official forums at thewitcher.com, as soon as the forums there get back online.

@BailWitch: Not helpfull. Not a little. It's not clever to ask someone for a favour and spitting them in the face at the same time.

Thanks for trolling, have a nice day.
oh ffs I should have read around before buying...

not just that it does not friggen work, I've wasted nearly all of my d/l quota for the month, it won't even support sli nor tripple monitor, not even 16:10 which I've 3 of. If it will work, ever.

That's just great. Fucking great. The days of proper game development are long gone, mark my words, all we get is garbage stitched together by indians.

This is Ibrin, the founder of the Widescreen Gaming Forum. If you'd like to help lobby for the Eyefinity and NV Surround, please retweet my request. It references back to this thread. The account is @wsgf.
Please add eyefinity support for The Witcher 2, thanks in advance.
