Roadking: At the risk of offending gays, and sounding Homophobic, thank you CDPR. Gay people are a minority and as such I am quite sick and tired of having homosexuality shoved down my throat (pun intended) every where I turn. Don't call me a hater, I don't hate anyone or any group. I am a white heterosexual male in my 50's; one of the most hated and despised groups in the world. Quite frankly it is a video game, No group has to be represented in any particular light. Its fantasy not a documentary. I suggest you get a few fairy friends together and start your own video game company and leave this one alone.

I would never play a game were the main character is homosexual.

I really hate Bioware for Dragon Age 2. They destroyed the whole atmosphere of "Dragon Age" by making all character gay or bisexual. I was really frustrated to have to look after not choosing gay romancing answers as I didn't want my char to be a homo. FU Bioware.

Witcher 1&2 are the best RPGs for me. After playing first game I decided to read all books and enjoyed them. Never found any homosexuality in the books.

And you obviously weren't looking hard enough. :p Geralt is definitely straight, so I don't think he should be getting it on with other guys, because I think sticking to his character as presented in the books is important. BUT, if they created a spinoff game in the same universe where you got to play a brand new witcher, one that had never appeared before and was a blank slate, I think letting that character sleep with someone of the same gender should definitely be an option.

BakedGoods: I'm just curious, you're obviously straight, and it was frustrating to have to 'dodge' gay answers in DA2--don't you think it would be equally frustrating for a gay person to have to dodge the 'straight' answers? Who's to say we should only cater to straight audiences?

blacklimoband: The so called "homophobia" that is rampant in this thread is not bigotry, it is not motivated by hate, or fear, or intolerance. It is more to do with the fact that the oppressed majority is sick to death of having this PC bullshit slammed on us day in day out... kind of like non-religious people are sick of having the god-botherers ramming their beliefs down our throats.

What you do in your own home is your choice. How you live your life is your choice. Don't hate me because I don't live your way... and stop trying to change the world to suit your lifestyle... I'm not going to go into the whole laws of nature etc thing, suffice to say that the majority are the majority for a reason. Just because you are different does not mean your way is the right way.

Explain to me why it is that if a heterosexual white male expresses an opinion they are immediately labelled as a racist/bigot/homophobe/hater yet any "minority" can express their opinions freely?

Case in point: an indigenous child (of maybe 10 or 12) asked me for a cigarette the other day (true story). I refused. He then slung a disgusting mouthful of abuse at me calling me things like "racist white c*nt" etc, accusing me of refusing his request because of his skin colour, when in fact I only refused him because he was clearly a child. I have had a similar experience with a white kid, difference being the only abuse I got from him was to be called an "asshole" for saying no.

TRVTRV: Homesexuality is not normal, is it? Only a minority of the popuplation is gay. All others who think to be gay are to dumb to get a girl/wife/woman. We live in a sick world with childrapists, homosexuals, transexuals, animalf!ckers etc.... and all of them think it is normal to accept their sick lifestyle everywhere in the real world. And now that *#§ came and want to ruin videogames with this crappy lifestyle. There was a time in history when people got killed for that.
