Sorry. I'm just new to the game and the series in general. But, truly... if Geralt and Iorveth got together, then The Witcher might get another fan...
Last I checked homosexuality wasnt a choice.

I smell troll, a gay troll. Stop being a ridiculous troll plz?
Throughout the book series he never displayed any interest towards men. Womanizing is on the short list of traits that people use to describe him. Unlike most other western RPGs you're not dealing with the blank slate PC that is often used. Geralt's been well defined for some time and I would imagine that if bi or homosexuality were intended to be there they would have appeared. I will say the gay characters present aren't the most flattering but that's a discussion for another time.

It's good that other games are aiming to fill the scope of experiences a player can have, but that's not this game. If that's a huge dealbreaker then the game may not be for you but you will be missing out on a very well done RPG.

Valerianus: Homosexuality is not "disgusting," as you put it. It is the way I choose to live my life.

The medieval tendencies of certain people in this society are sickening.
Personally I find the sense of entitlement of some people almost as sickening.

There is absolutely no reason why CD Projekt should derail an established character only to appeal to a few misguided gay gamers who can't understand why everyone doesn't pander to them.
Trolling is a art.
don't... just don't...
Actually that brings me to question certain things.

Old witchers and dozens of boys living together , in a place where there is not much to do besides training , for a very long periods of time with no women.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

What makes you think there wasn't any woman? If you played Wither 1, one of things that is said by the NPC towns people is "A Witcher, hide your women" or something like that. Perhaps in the training schools they had woman for training purposes. Someone had to train the Witchers how to woo and plough woman. =P

Hehe, I think the sterility and immunity to STDs do most of the witchers' wooing work for them xD

EDIT: Oh, forgot about a witcher's touch causing a slight tingling feeling. Add that to the list, lol.

I have to tell you, I chuckled when I read the title... yesterday, I took my oldest son to see the movie Thor (he wanted to see it).. Thor being a Norse god, residing in Aasgard... much to my surprise, the Aasgard in the movie had African, Asian, and Latino residents :)

... talk about things that do not go together.

Asking for a homosexual or even bisexual Geralt is like, I don't know, asking to play Call of Duty as John Lennon or Mahatma Ghandi.. it just ain't gonna happen.

Valerianus: As a homosexual gamer, I was disappointed by the lack of homosexuality in the game. If BioWare can offer homosexuality in their games, why can't CD Projekt? Why can't Geralt start a romantic relationship with Roche or Iorveth? Why are there no male prostitutes? Why is it that Geralt can't have sex with elven men? Why can't we turn Geralt "gay"? Isn't choice part of being an RPG game?

CD Projekt, it's about time that we be a little more inclusive and acknowledge that homosexuals and bisexuals want their options, too.
i really have no time for this. w2 is the game it was meant to be, regardless of the lack of edge-case scenarios that weren't accommodated.
Maybe Geralt likes dudes too but figures he's already persecuted enough as is as a witcher. ;)
