Witcher 2 saves games to the documents folder, which is on my C drive and very small. It's already taken up 900mb and I'm afraid of how much more space it will take up. Plus, I try to avoid writing data to my C drive as much as possible. Is there a way I can change where the Witcher 2 saves it games? Thank you.
I'd love the answer to this too... perhaps a symbolic link or something could work?
HOLY! i didn't know this i just saw i have 2gb (456 files) of save files in there! D: and that's my Windows partition , ok this is bad :(

Doubt there would be a way to change it from game files. The only workaround i can think of is changing where your computer stores My Documents folder and move it all-together to your bigger hard drive.
You can do it by right clicking your My Documents folder - > Properties -> Location tab

anything you download also goes there
You can do this via Windows if you junction the "Witcher 2" folder into My Documents.

1. Download and install this: http://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/hardlinkshellext.html

2. Move your Witcher 2 folder in Documents to whatever other drive you want to go to.

3. Right click on the moved Witcher 2 folder and select "Pick Link Source."

4. Now go back to your My Documents, right click on an empty space, and say "Drop As>Junction"

And that should be it!
Have you tried changing where My Documents is instead? If you don't want documents saved on the C drive then this makes more sense.

If you have Windows 7 do this: http://www.w7forums.com/change-location-my-documents-folder-t338.html. This actually moves My Documents to somewhere else. Or this for XP: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310147. I haven't done this but do a google search if you like more info on this.

It seems to make more sense than expecting a single program to cater to your location saving desires.

What about the Linux gog Witcher 2 version? Can I change the directory to where it auto saves and manually saves game files towards a separate drive...? Such as the same drive I install the game upon.

Has anyone tried this? Does it works?
