When starting the game launcher, selecting "Options" does not take me to the options, but instead simply relaunches the launcher window.

Is there any way to start the options menu manually without using the launcher?

There is a file named "configurator", that looks like it might be that. But when trying to start this, nothing happens.

The game runs perfectly on maximum video settings!!! The configuration file is not working! It was not possible to reduce the load on the video card. Linux Debian 11.0

Same issue here on my side, I can run it, but somewhat slow, is there any other way to change the configuration?

I was able to modify the rendering.ini at "GOG Games/The Witcher 2 Assassins Of Kings Enhanced Edition/game/bin/config" changing the numbers to lower ones, but I still see the same quality without any change.
