Hi all, in my path, I had saved Adda in TW1. At the point when you are talking to Henselt, just before the assassins come into the camp, Henselt is talking to a Redanian envoy. If I recall correctly, Redania's position is that they should absorb Temeria through Foltest/Adda bloodline.
What is Redania's position if Adda was killed in TW1?
Thanks for any replies.
They will then put forth Anais as the successor, I believe. I've only imported a save file from TW1 in which I killed Adda, once, but I seem to recall them talking about Anais instead, upon which Henselt comments about how he won't support a bastard to take the throne - giving as an example that he would then have over a dozen children that are heirs to the Kaedweni crown.

What about in the first part of the Prologue? In the scene where you first meet Foltest and the Nilfgaardian ambassador (I can NEVER get his name right...) near the ballista, the ambassador is talking about how the succession to the throne is already secured through Adda. Foltest retorts by saying that "the Old Families will never accept a Redanian on the throne" and that "Adda will have to content herself with Redania". What does Foltest say if Adda was killed in TW1?

Incidentally, I could never bring myself to kill Adda in the first game. It just seems like Geralt taking the lazy way out... Especially when it's not that hard to survive the battle with Adda until dawn!

Shilard. It's like a mix between "shit" and "lard," which is pretty much an accurate portrayal.

I can't properly recall, but I doubt it was anything mind-blowing. I still have the TW1 save in which I killed her, so I can look it up later to make sure, since it's so early in the game.

If Adda's been killed, Foltest says smthg on the lines of how he needs to recover his (bastard) children, since they are the only heirs he gas now...
