Seems to revolves around these with Vran being the best, but soemhow i never saw in it my playthrough with Ioverth-my first
I only found Draug Amor and VIcovaro
Can anyone give a head-up about other 3?

Where did you find the Armor of Vicovaro?

Armor of Ysgith: Chapter 3 sewers, entrance near the Mighty Numa.

Vran armor: Armor made using Armor of Ysgith (recipe you get in the same chest)

Armor of Ys: troll skin armor, you find the recipe in the same place as above.

Draug armor: armor made from Draug (chapter 2 boss) loot. You can either purchase the recipe in chapter 2 or 3. Kinda pointless.
Chapter 2 is best played with the Dragon Scale armor (Iorveth side) or Armor of Ban Ard (Roche side) from the outset.

The Zeriel or smth armour on roche path is pretty good too.
& where do oyu get ther dragan scale from on roche's path? ( i'm guessing the quartermaster has the diagram for it, i never check shopkeeper's for armour diagrams , always use ones i find lying around)

Dragon Scale armor is sold from elven blacksmith on Iorveth's path (which is why i mentioned Iorveth's path in parenthesis).

You can easily get the armor of Ban Ard on Roche's side instead, for free, but you have to kill a golem.

Where did you find Zirael's armor?

its the one dethmold gives you to cross the mist to get saskia's sword.

Spoiler,getting the Vicovaro armor:


Think it's dropped by Nilfgaard commander when you go to save Triss.You can get the Vran armor earlier,which is better,but if you didn't do the Mystic River quest,I think it's pretty similar to Ysgith.Can't remember the stats now.

You only need to do the first part of the Mystic River quest, in order to get the key.

Sob...the more into this topic i feel like wanting to cry cuz i battled through the game using the rusty and old armor of loc muine... I guess rotfiends got my attention elsewhere

I liked Armor of Ysgith for its protection from magic. Added the Yran & Alderan(?) enchanment on it for a total of 31. Vran was too expensive.
Armor of Vicovaro was also plausible for its additional carry capacity (+45)

Vicovaro also looks good, look less a patchwork like others lol

In my opinion armor of Ysgith is better than Vran armor, you use Armor of Ysgith to craft Vran armor and what do you get? You get a bit boost to some of the resistances(+%10 to three of them as far as i remember), get +4 more armor and get +2 vitality regeneration and for these you sacrifice +1 vigor and %30 of resistance against magic. Can't remember if you gain or lose anything more than these but it is not a fair trade in my opinion. Only reason i craft Vran armor is it looks a lot cooler in combination with elder blood pieces than armor of ysgith is in my opinion and i like to craft armor parts-swords that i am able to craft.

while we are talking about vran, where do you find the forgotten sword of vran? i seem to have missed it..
