This and Nenneke's temple theme (maybe even other themes) are missing on the .zip file that is supposed to include all of The Witcher's ost. Why weren't they included?

I believe that every version of the soundtrack is missing a few tracks. The music that plays on the game's menu screen after it first launches is a good example. I don't know why they're not included.
I don't find any sense to this. Why would CDPR not share the entire OST? Do they not completely own The Witcher brand and merchandise?

The only reason I can think of is that they needed to fit it onto a CD for the physical releases of the game. They could still have included everything in the digital versions, of course, but then they wouldn't be the same as the physical edition and I assume they wanted them to be the same.

Just a guess, I don't know the real reason.
you can find most of the music and audio files in the game's folders. don't remember which one or what format they were in, but mediamonkey played them without any troubles. the .bik files are videos which can be viewed with the media classic player program.
