I was wondering, I am thinking of playing TW1 again with the Flash Mod and maybe some other graphical mods installed.

Will that have an effect on exporting my save for TW2? Are the save still compatible or will that break it?
Sorry to bump an old (but great) topic. I have the same question as posted above... can you use mods like Flash and White Wolf and still be able to successfully import your save to Witcher 2?

Yeah, you definitely can. I recently played through with Flash, White Wolf and scabbard mods. Save transferred to Witcher 2 with my swords and armour from witcher 1.
Does anyone know where I can find a copy of Full Combat Rebalance?
None of the main links work.

The nexus one seems to be it, though the file name is misleading.

I think I read somewhere that certain quests couldn't be completed with the Full Combat Rebalanced mod installed (something to do with the monster spawns I think). Is this true? This is the only thing that's stopping me from trying it.

By the way, is it just me or is everybody's comments being downvoted for some reason?

Are there any issues with using the Rise of the White Wolf mod with the ones in the OP?
I'm playing this for the first time.

I'm thinking of going with:

Flash Mod
Texturen Mod
Hi-Res Character Mod
Rise of the White Wolf

Anyone know if these cause issues with each other?
How does one turn off critical effects animations? I'm getting stun-locked by the Pain animation when hit by barghests. FCR was supposed to remove them, but thye still occur, despite using the latest version. I remember reading that the .lua files need tweaking, but I don't know how.

Also, how do I tweak the Parry/Dodge penalties for enemies attacking from the sides/rear? -50% is too high for my taste.

I don't know about conflicts, but after some time spent with Flash mod for my second playthrough of the Witcher, I decided to do without it. If you're in it for the story and you just have to have a mod, then I'd recommend "Stuff that makes Geralt's life easier". I can't say much about the cosmetic mods, but I have read somewhere that the Hi-Res Character mods leads to some inconsistent presentation issues because some character models weren't touched up.
I'm getting ready to play TW1 for the first time (played tw2 on xbox 360) since it will be months before I have a pc that will be able to run TW3>.< I decided this is as good a time as any to play tw1

Now I plan to transfer my tw1 save to tw2 when I beat it I just want to make sure the mods I use will let me

Stuff that makes Geralt's life easier

Faster Movement Mod

Missing Kalkstein and Leuvaarden Clues Fix

Leuvaarden Buys Salamandra Badges

Han Gives Han NOT Berbercane

Savegame manager

and some Adventure mods like the one listed on this thread and maybe some others.

So with these mods will I be able to transfer the save after I beat tw1?

I wrote a guide om GamingBoulevard, with 10+ mods, their installation order and a guide to install SweetFX
Can't link directly to that site, but google should help you.

I hope this can help some guys of you to mod The Witcher Enhanced Edition. Also made it for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition. Please, do contact me if you have any problems.
