any idea what the difference is? It seams platinum has the main game, then 5 other im guessing mini games. I havent gotton to um yet.

So far it doesnt really seam sensored, atleast from anything ive noticed. It also seams to not beable to patch.

any idea what the differences are?
I believe that the game was only censored in certain places, like the US. If you have the European version of the Platinum Edition, then you already have the director's cut. The Director's Cut patch just removes censorship if your version has it. Otherwise the Platinum Edition is identical.

The "5 other" things you mention are bonus adventures, kind of like expansion packs or DLC. They play like a separate game... instead of launching the original Witcher game you can choose to play one of these extra stories. Two of them are by the original developers and feature full voice acting. The others were made by fans but were deemed quality enough to be included in the Platinum Edition. These do not have voice acting, just text dialogue. There are also many more fan-made adventures that you can download. I believe some are recommended on these forums.
By the way, I have just learned that apparently the Platinum Edition contains the Flash Mod, whereas the GOG version does not. However, you can still download and apply the Flash Mod to the GOG version yourself. See the sticky thread on Recommended Mods and Adventures for more details.

Just to clarify, the Plantinum edition DVDs do contain the Flash Mod but it's not applied to the game itself, you have to install it from the 'bonus content' DVD yourself.

The differences between the Plantium Edition and the Director's Cut are all in the bonus content as Waltorious said, no difference in the game play or content of the game.

Doesn't GOG's version contain the bonus adventures too? Are there extra bonus adventures that are only included in the Platinum Edition?

Regardless, the bonus adventures can be downloaded for free no matter what version you have.
