I'm experiencing a brief sound skip during the intro movie (around the 3:57 mark), where Geralt launches his "hadoken" blast and the beast is slowly crawling towards him. Some observations and troubleshooting I performed/noticed:

* Currently running in Windows 7 compatibility mode.
* I tested the intro.bik file in the Movies folder and it runs perfect from beginning to end.
* I uninstalled/reinstalled the game.
* I moved the game install folder to the C Drive. No change.

Has anybody else experienced this issue? If so, is there a fix?

On what kind of system are you running the game (CPU, RAM, GPU)? I can't remember running into this even when I used a really old PC.
If the skipping is only in the early cut scenes, then some people found replacing binkw32.dll with an older version helped.
You could try it.
