Just downloaded and installed the new Mac version. When I try to launch it, I get an error that says I don't meet the minimum requirements. Um, my late 2013 27" iMac, 3.5 GHz i7, GTX 780M 4GB, 8 GB RAM begs to differ. What's the deal, here?

Clocknova: ...What's the deal, here?
It's a known glitch in the game's hardware detection.

This is the suggested solution from GOG support:
Please go into your Applications directory. Right-click The Witcher.app, and select "Show package contents". Go into the Contents directory and open the Info.plist file.
Find this line:
<key>Program Flags</key>
Underneath it, you will find this line:
<string></string>
Change the second line to:
<string>-dontForceMinReqs</string>
Save the file and try launching the game now.
There is no such line in the .plist file. Adding it just causes the games icon to bounce endlessly in the dock. What next?

In the Info.plist file should be a section titled
<key>Program Flags</key>

Just paste this in the next line:
<string>-dontForceMinReqs</string>

That's the problem. There is no Program Flags section in my .plist file. And adding one causes the game to fail to launch altogether.
I have the same problem.
I searched in the games folder but I don't have a Witcher.app or Info.plist file.
Does anybody know what to do?

The "minimum requirements not met" problem tackled for over 4GB vRAM GPUs should be fixed with today's update.
Try reinstalling the latest version and please give us feedback if it actually works.
