Hello all. I've started a new game and I'm in the first chapter, the outskirts of vizima, and I seem to be having a problem. I bought the books. I rested for a good amount of time and I still cant get any plants names to show so I can pick them. I can buy them but that's it. any ideas? Thanks.

Go to main menu. Select 'Options' >> 'Game Options' and check 'Show Object Names' and 'Floating Info'. Select 'Accept'. You can also just press (and hold) the [ALT] key to show the names.

Thanks Hickory. I tried that first thing. All it shows is every thing but the plants. I did go back to an old save, and I'm talking old, that I just happen to still have and the plant names show....hmm.

Before you can collect any plants you have to put some attributes onto Intelligence,

I have enclosed a screen shot.

These attributes are really important and getting them right makes a ton of difference.

If I may, get all the strength and dexterity you can, get intelligence as shown in the image and then get sword use.
