So i finished The Witcher 1 and i wanted to start Witcher 2 as well. But Witcher 2 can't found my saves then i chacked the Witcher 1 save folder and that was totally empty. Can everyone help me about this?

A bit of thread necromancy but I encountered the same thing.
Turns out because I started the launcher as administrator, the saved games ended up in that profile.

So as a possible solution, check the directory:
users\[admin profile name]\Documents\The Witcher\saves

Hi there I`ve the problem the other way around. I can`t delete them (I`ve too many save). a) i delete them in the game b) i delete them on my computer and a few hours later there are all again on my computer (documents/the witcher.../saves)

Now I`ve controlled if are my saves a second time anywere. I`ve got:

Dirs=2
Dir_0=C:\Users\cleme\Documents\The Witcher
Dir_1=C:\Users\Public\Documents\The Witcher could these be the problem an how i sove this? Can i just delete the Dir_1... line?

I`m not so good in DOS (Dir_0 ? Dir_1)...

Or are my saves anywere on GOG.com (I`ve downloaded the game from there) but i do`nt game on steam...

It sounds like you are using the Galaxy client with cloud saving enabled.
I don't use Galaxy, but it will have an option there to disable cloud saving for the game.
