I had played the game back when i released on EA. Then i came back yesterday to start a new profile. When i closed the game, it updated. I logged in today and I got the starting cutscene and now i'm trapped in the house in the first quests of the game.

My progress seems okay, including any characters i have unlocked, inventory, quest log, hair.

But the house is ruined like in the beginning of the game, and i can't get out because the doors are locked and i don't have the quests to unlock them, i have the quests that i had last night. So i'm locked in, and if i teleport, locked outside.

I tried doing the initial quests to be allowed to leave the house but there's no quest to register once i gather the cobwebs from the house.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail

I wish we had some save slots in this game. This is horrible
