Try "Disable full-screen optimisations" on suffering.exe

Game with AiO unofficial patch was crashing during opening cut scene until I set the above.
nvm, disabling the overlay fixed my issue with the patch.

I see a few people mention deleting a dsounds file but I can't see one when I go to the game folder. Is there a specific programme I need to be bale to access and delete this file?
Hey, sorry to be a bother, but I was wondering if someone had an idea why the Patch does wonders for Prison is Hell (Can actually play and move my mouse normally) but the Patch doesn't seem to do anything for Ties that Bind, or if it does, it doesn't fix the absurdity of trying to aim and look around. (At the current speed, it would probably take me an entire minute to spin a full 360) I have the GOG variant of the games if this has any effect on what I may have to do.

I've seen a suggestion around where you say to edit the Torgue.ini and enable mouse acceleration or some such, but my Ties That Bind doesn't have a Torque.ini (Prison is Hell doesn't either) there is only the one in -My Games- Folder and that .ini does not have an option for such a possibility.
Allowing TBB to run in a Window instead of Fullscreen fixed my Mouse issues actually, I can finally play!

UCyborg: Regarding version 1.04, from what I remember, it had some cosmetic fixes only visible when you read its code. Don't see how it could cause freezes compared to previous version. Maybe it's something inherent from the original game combined with some undetermined system specific.
I tried again the 1.04 version with a different PC and it works now fine, without problems.

IfAnE: hello I have a question about the patch. First thing it work really well but the problem is I cannot launch the game on GOG Galaxy, The only way I can play the game it when I go to the folder and launching there it work.So the question is to play the game do I have to always go to the folder of the game to launch it or is there a way to launch it on GOG with the patch.Thank if someone can help me
Had the same problem. Easy fix for this. Find the game's directory (should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\GalaxyClient\Games\The Suffering" but it's whatever you set it to). In the game's folder scroll down to "Launch The Suffering" and Right Click it. Select "Send To" and then "Desktop (create a shortcut)". Should send it to your desktop and that shortcut bypasses Galaxy.

I have the AiO patch installed and well I am providing screenies of how my game looks

as you can see I have literelly full textures and models popping in and out.

I have forced my game to run in 60 FPS. that did not help I have even tried changing it to diff compatibility modes and it still does this. I even tried disabling fullscreen optimization.

any fix would be thankful

I downloaded and copied the files to the game folder, the game was running fine before that but with your patch it crashed after 5 seconds in the intro. Do you how can I use your patch without the game crashing? I really need your patch because I have the "no space" problem with it.

what does TBB stand for? I am having the same issue with moving my mouse around. It moves incredibly slow and the game is just unplayable like this.
Hello, my only problem is that music never plays while i am playing the game, for example get into a big shootout with enemies and monsters...i was able to fix prison is hell with your dsound fix but it does not with Ties That Bind?
For those having texture issues, I found that if you have a laptop with both GeForce and Intel cards, you need to run the game using the Intel integrated graphics. That fixed the issue for me.
