Alright, I patched and everything but textures are missing my character is invisible, and I am frustrated. I have a gtx 1050ti, and I have already tried the regedit method to no avail. Please help.

I deleted the sound files and so far have had no problems. i'll let you know if something happens. Either way, thanks for the help man :)

Just gave the patch a try with the latest The Suffering TTB downloaded from GOG, and it crashes at start-up with a message about an "Incompatible version" of "SufferingTTB.rfl".

FWIW Game seems to run fine without this patch (no problems in about 15 minutes of play).

Any ideas?

I've verified files in the archive and they're fine. Maybe they got corrupted somehow during download/extraction.

With the garbage download speeds typically coming through Moddb, it's almost a guarantee toward that being the cause.

Nope, no joy. Just downloaded it again (only takes about 30 secs.) On launch, I still get a message box with the title "Riot Engine" and the message "Cannot load RFL: incompatible version!".

That error also shows when SufferingTTB.rfl cannot be loaded for any other reason. What the reason might be is anyone's guess.

Same here , for some reason it worked with the second game , but the first one , all the textures seem to be missing :(
