Yep, I can confirm your problem... I'd also like a solution..

Give it a bit of time after you click on the keyboard option. I thought it was crashing as well, but it just hangs for a little bit for some reason. It should put you in the menu eventually (for me it took about 15 seconds).

If it still isn't responding after a minute or so, try the unofficial patch from the top post in this forum.
