Played the game a while back but never finished. Now the game won't start. I keep getting a

" Plugin 'OculusRift' failed to load because module 'OculusRift' could not be found. Please ensure plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project."

Let me preface that I have never owned nor had any form of VR on this computer. I tried looking online for a solution but I literally could not find a single one with a suitable answer.

Would appreciate any help.

Try uninstalling the game (either the new or old version) first.

I encountered the same problem after installing the latest version (filename setup_the_solus_project_1.11_(21588)) over the previous version, ie. without 1st uninstalling the previous version. I uninstalled the game (inc. saves, but hopefully that isn't necessary), did a fresh install from "setup_the_solus_project_1.11_(21588)" and the game now runs.
