On Steam there is a beta with support for motion controls in VR. How can we play this in the GOG version?

Yes but that's from 2016, it just gives you the normal VR version with gamepad controls only. I'm asking specifically about the new beta that supports motion controllers.
Any news about this?

I've already aske GOG support but there response was rather useless - seems like they don't understand what VR support means.

So my questions to any owner of the game:

- what is the current version of The Solus Project on GOG?
- are there any alternative versions available for download?
- are there any branches one can select in GOG Galaxy?
- if so, are there even VR users that tried them (preferrably with WMR, but Vive or Rift info would be appreciated as well)?

Thanks,
Christian

According to the changelog on GOG galaxy the current version is 1.031 from Feb 2017. It doesn't look like you can select any alternate/beta branches in Galaxy either so I'm guessing the 1.1 patch hasn't made it to GOG yet.
