GOG Galaxy / Games / Settlers 3 Ultimate

The problem is I cannot start the game without a Key. How can I solve it?

ZFR: Depends on where you installed it.

Check C:\GOG\Settlers 3

To know for sure, open the installer, select Options, and you should see the installation folder there (it saves the path to last installation).
bought the game but they want a key and I tried it with the description from the Forum. It did not work so I´m helpless, because I do not know how to chnage regs to `main Administration`

I Found out !!

When installed - Then right besides <Play> there is a button called <More> Press it, go down to <Manage Installation> then >Verify/Repair> :D Just press it, and it does it's magic.

Now you can play <3

mumja92: If nothing works then you can run as administrator 'regs.cmd' from main directory. Worked for me.
This took care of the serial code issue for me.

agent00x: for any future readers, I didn't even restart my computer. I just loaded the game, tried to go into the tutorial and it asked for the CD key, I then exited out of the game and reloaded it, and then it didn't ask.
Thanks for this. I tried installing it, it asked me for the serial key and then kept asking me. So I uninstalled it, reinstalled it and then went into 'Tutorial' it didn't ask for the key and it hasn't since.

For those looking for the elusive key (not that you need it if you do the above) it is:

6263-5089-1715-8067-9121

Also, if you can't stand the music but love the sound effects (chopping wood etc.), go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Settlers 3 Ultimate and just delete the 'MUSIC' folder.

Peace and quiet with all of the cuteness.

Awesome to be playing this again. Cheers guys. :-)

hmm I tried several times and it still asked. oh well, I went ahead and got a refund for it anyway. the interface on this game is kinda weird. tutorial non-functional.

If you go to the game on the gog.com website (not GOG galaxy) there is a drop down tab that says "More". If you click it there is a selection for "Serial Keys", and there you should be able to get the key for the game.
