First game on GOG, bought because Steam reviews said that GOG released a patch to fix visual bugs of Settlers: Rise of an Empire.

Installed....adjusted to my resolution no problem...adjusted graphics but none of the settings save. The game is rediculously dark and must be fake brightened with that slider. If I start an actual game and try to adjust the settings in that, they don't save either and boot me back to the main menu of the game.

Suggestions? I even double checked to see if the visual patch was installed and it said 'Already Installed' after downloading.

(Quad core laptop, Windows 7, 8g ram)

No options to save graphic settings
Memory fix installed

Any idea for resolution?

Did you try running as administrator?
