My character gets sleepy, I get to the Inn in England and sleep - awaken at the ghost marriage and after that plays out, invariably upon return to Texas, I am sleepy...rinse and repeat to the point I have stopped playing.

I've only played for a few hours so I'm not sure how far into the game you are, but are you wearing the wedding ring around your neck? It makes you sleepy.
