As Saga, I walked (and ran) up to the door, then ran back to her mother after prompting the mother to ask what Saga wanted. I can even look up at the door knob but nothing is highlighted. I've tried hitting the F key to no avail. How do you get past this point? It seems like the game has changed since what I've seen in the walthroughs.

UPDATE: It's true, restarting the game from the point right as the chapter starts fixes the issue. I was just restarting it too late, from the living room.
