When I come across a game that looks somewhat interesting I'll add it to my wishlist. Not really knowing much about the game but with plans to look into it later and see if it would be worth getting. Such was the case with The Long Dark.

I've had it in my wishlist for quite a while but with life being so busy, I've never really had a chance to look closely at it. However just the other day I came across a video of the game and wow, it really looks like a game I would enjoy. I went to GOG to see what the price was and realized the game no longer showed up in my wishlist. After digging into why, I see that the publisher removed it for what appears to be due to an error on someone's part in making an insensitive comment. I do hope that if that was the case and a apology was issued that the game will return to GOG at some point soon. I only get games from GOG due to my unique situation and would hate to be locked out of ever being able to buy the game.
I have bought the game on GOG when it was available, because I was in a situation similar to yours.

I can confirm it is being updated, even if the platform can't sell it anymore, and that the decision is entirely from Hinterland, so I suggest you to post this same comment in some thread when Hinterland is present, like this one on GOG or this other one directly on the company forums
