Hey everyone,

I think I have a problem with the sound in the game - namely there is none. It works in every other app on my computer, but not in this. I've tried reinstalling the C++ redistrib and updating my drivers, but it didn't make a difference.

The issue could be a missing Xaudio component on your system. Could you please verify?

The missing components can be easily installed with the DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010):

In case the problem still occurs, could you please give it a try?

Hello,

Just an update - it doesn't seem to have worked the first time but I have since had to re-install Windows for an unrelated issue and when I tried the same solution again it did work. If someone else is having this issue I would recommend they go with the Web version of the installer as that's what I used when it ended up working.
